Daylight Savings Time ends tomorrow, so be sure to set your clocks back an hour before bed (assuming you follow DST).

November has started. Man, it won’t be long till 2019 is in the books and 2020 starts.

And, once again, I’ve been neglecting my WordPress blog–I guess work has drained me quicker than expected.
Well, God willing, I hope to start working on Let’s Play videos. We’ll just have to see.
Oh, and Happy Halloween, everyone. Have fun and stay safe!
Oct. 2nd, 2019
Dang, I’ve been neglecting this again.
Well, as stated in the middle of last month, I’ve resumed my Adventure Game Studio project, and will restart the Pixel Game Maker one at another time.
So, how are all of you?
Sep. 20th, 2019
Well, I think I’d have to start over with the Pixel Game Maker project, but I’ll worry about it another time. For now, I’m just gonna work on my Adventure Game Studio game. For the time being, I’ll do games with software I’m more familiar with.
Sep. 19th, 2019–What’s the deal, PGM?!
(sigh) Well, looks like my platformer game dreams need to be put on pause. Pixel Game Maker MV keeps crashing when I try to test something!
But, I guess that means I can go back to my Adventure Game Studio project in the meantime.
Sep. 18th, 2019 (Part 2)
I had another thought. Since I’m still learning about Pixel Game Maker MV, I might as well consider my games with those freeware for a while, and hold off on commercial games made with that software till I get better at it.
Sep. 18th, 2019–Slow and steady progress.
So I’m making slow and steady progress on my game project–getting help from people on the Pixel Game Makers Discord channel. Hopefully soon I can finally get this game ready. I should’ve talked it sooner on the channel. Live and learn I guess.
Sept. 15th, 2019
So today (after church), I return to work. I’d have to leave after communion since it’s pretty soon in the afternoon–luckily my church posts videos of the sermons on YouTube.
Because of how much is packed in a Sunday, I don’t have time to do creative stuff these days. Due to that, I prepared this post in advance, and scheduled when it would be uploaded.
But, to compensate, here are some more cool playthrough videos done by NintendoComplete on YouTube some time back.
This one of Super C, the sequel to Contra on the NES (man, the NES ports of Contra and Super C really out-did their original arcade counterparts–namely with extra levels!)
And one with Contra Force, another Contra series game on the NES. May not have aliens, but still some run-and-gun action that the Contra series is famous for.
Hopefully this’ll tide you people over for a while.
Sept. 14th, 2019–Vacation Week Comes to a Close
So today is the last day of my vacation week. At least I got a lot of my creative stuff done.
Tomorrow is when I go back to the old grind. It seems Mondays and Wednesdays will be the only days I can really get progress on my game making again. I might have to turn my Discord on to get help on some of the stuff. Other than those, I’ll probably be using the after-work ours for other creative stuff, like art or writing.
Meh, gotta do what ya gotta do.
Anyway, I’ll wrap up this post with this cool playthrough NintendoComplete (on YouTube) did near the end of last year (2018) of a translated version of the original Famicom version of Contra (has a lot of stuff we in the USA missed out on):
