World of Longplays: Superman on the Sega Mega Drive.

From the channel “World of Longplays”, here’s RickyC’s playthrough of Superman on the Sega Mega Drive (known in North America as “Sega Genesis”). It’s one of the few good Superman games out there (for some reason, Batman has had better luck getting decent video games).

This game also features Mr. Myxyzptlk, so there’s that. (Yeah, Mr. Myxyzptlk is my fave Superman villain–mainly because in the animated series, he was voiced by Gilbert Gottfried. I’m weird like that.)

NintendoComplete plays Knights of the Round (SNES)

So here’s YouTuber NintendoComplete playing through another game–this one, the SNES port of the arcade hack and slash, Knights of the Round!

Seriously, if you’ve lived during the 1990’s, you know the arcade well, so when it came to the SNES, if you loved the original arcade, this is a great version to play without having to use up your allowance in quarters!

NintendoComplete knows his stuff!

The final Earthbound game…

This is the third of the Earthbound series… known as Mother 3 in Japan. This game we in the West missed out on. And this is where Lucas (in Super Smash Bros. Brawl) came from.

And yeah, it’s a shame we missed out on this game.

But it’s totally different in tone from the first two games. I mean, the first chapter and ALREADY it takes a turn for the darker. I stopped watching after a while (not sure if my attention span would hold, or if I could hold out before it really got to me). But yeah, totally different from the goofy tones of the previous two (though it does give some quirkiness to balance it out).
