Today is the next-to-last day of January. And it’s rather warm for this time of year. But it will get cold again, because winter is supposedly not to end till March. If Old Man Winter doesn’t get drunk and extend his stay, however.

Yeah, it was again single digit (Fahrenheit) this morning, but that’s January for you.

Yeah, I wasn’t able to get much of my writing done, as a lot was going on at once. As of this post, the best I could do is prepare the later chapters for when I get to them.

Jan. 27th, 2022: Another Church Friend Gone

When I got back from work today, I learned another of my church friends had passed away recently, so my parents are at the funeral. It kinda came in short notice, as I had just gotten back from work when I heard the news.

Jan. 26th, 2022: REALLY Cold this morning!

This morning it was the single digits (in the Fahrenheit scale)! Well, that’s January in the Northern Hemisphere for you.

Jan. 25th, 2022: A Little Slickery Outside Today

The roads are a bit slick this morning, so I have to go a little earlier than usual. Besides, I need to get some gas for my vehicle, as well as maybe pick up something for lunch on the way to work.

First we lost Meat Loaf the day before, now I heard we lost Louie Anderson. Man, our beloved celebrities are dropping like flies these days. Between COVID and other health-related issues, and other issues in general, it’s like the Grim Reaper has been working overtime with celebrities lately.
