Another month arrives, and all full of full weeks. This month starts with a full week, and ends on a full week. As said in the previous month’s post, I’ll add each day as needed, which is helpful if I forgot a post a day or two.
Feb. 1st, 2026
The first full week February 2026, as well as the whole month, begins today.
I had an important task once I got home (long story). But afterwards, I also copied down some notes for my game project things. Hopefully I can work on stuff further now.

Feb. 2nd, 2026
It’s Groundhog Day, but thankfully we’re out of the endless loop.
I had pretty much a half day today, since I had my dentist appointment this morning. Before my appointment, I got to read “The Investigation” by Adrienne Celt in the May/June 2022 issue of Ellery Queen Mystery Magazine.
Found out, I need to get fillings again (oh, joy!). So, this’ll slow down my game project work slower (this week to make up for time lost, and also having to leave slightly earlier than usual Feb. 10th—that’s when I need to go and get my fillings done).

Feb. 3rd, 2026
The Anniversary of “The Day The Music Died”.
Anyway, I had to stay a little longer due to making up time missed due to my dentist appointment. Will be the same the rest of this week, as well as next week when I need to get my fillings.
So, it’ll probably be the weekend when I can work on my game project on those two weeks.
In any case, after work and before dinner, I read “Phoney Friend” by Peter Turnbull, one of the stories of Ellery Queen Mystery Magazine May/June 2022 issue.
Hopefully things will improve as I get closer to the weekend.
Feb. 4th, 2026
The first “Hump Day” of February.
Before heading to work, I did my reading of EQMM. This time it’s “I Believe in You” by Jeremiah K. Balko. Like all of the mysteries and suspense stories of said magazine, it’s quite the read.
This may be all the stuff I can focus on for a while (again, given recent stuff). My major project will be done when it’s done.
Feb. 5th, 2026
My birthday is tomorrow! Yay!
Well, I did some more EQMM reading. This time I read “Runner” by Tyler Fiecke.
Again, due to my appointment this past Monday, I’ll be away a bit longer. Be careful out there.
Feb. 6th, 2026—My Birthday!!!
Today, another trip around the sun begins for me.
It’s doubtful I’ll do much today, as I might be going someplace for my birthday after work.
But it’s the start of the weekend as well, so I might be able to stay up a little bit late.

The first full week of February 2026 concludes today.
Well, I was able to set up the hitboxes for my game character’s kick (her standard attack). I might do coding for them later on.
