It’s the first “Hump Day” of February 2025, but quite a chilly one—freezing rain where I’m at. A reminder that we’re not done with winter yet.
So, after I got home, I read two stories from the September/October 2021 issue of Ellery Queen Mystery Magazine. The stories were “DNF” by Kristine Kathryn Rusch (takes place during a Halloween Night Frights Run at an inn, and let’s just say being a mystery story, some of those frights are real), and “Non Absolvo” by David Dean (Never thought the Catholic Eucharist could have hidden dangers, unless there’s a baddie hiding in the background.).
Well, tomorrow is my 44th birthday. Yep, another trip around the sun for me. Anyway, take care, all.
