So I finished reading the issue of Fantasy & Science Fiction I was working on reading yesterday. The story was the novella “The Dark Ride” by John Kessel. (And it was dark, in more ways than one.) I finished that yesterday, though I was a bit upset about what was going on that day (long story).
But I was able to get that dealt with over the phone today, and now I hope I can avoid any bad surprises for a while.
