Sept. 21st, 2020–Summer 2020’s last hurrah

Today is the last day of Summer 2020. Tomorrow is the Autumn Equinox.

And after that, to quote the Burgomeister from Quest for Glory: Shadows of Darkness:
“The days are getting cooler and shorter–winter is approaching.”

(That’s one of my favorite quotes from that game.)

So yeah, I’m trying to plan out how to get the most of my time outside of work. I might do a few creative things before work–like pencilings and some of my reading of my literature magazines. I might do sprite work around 7PM–hopefully by then my focus is regained enough for that.

I’m trying to train my body to stay up longer and get as much sleep in fewer hours, though sometimes it’s hard to wake up quicker on the nights before weekends, since I don’t have to work on weekends anymore.

Such is life, I suppose.

Man, it will take me forever and a day to do just the game ideas I have right now, and more ideas are flowing in… if only I can find friends who can help with them. If not for free, at least a relatively low commission rate.

(sigh) Again, such is life.
